Hadeel: two sails and colonial wood, Luxor to Aswan

Named after the Arabic word for a pigeon's cooing, Hadeel was built in 2007 and fitted out in colonial style, with dark wood panelling and lavish furniture. She carries two sails but is not sail-only: a small motor vessel travels with her as tow and backup. Eight en-suite cabins take up to 16 guests on scheduled departures, and two smaller rooms are released only when the whole boat is chartered. She has no engine: two lateen sails do the work and a small tug pushes her when the wind drops.
