Terms of Use

This is Egypt (“we”, “us”, the “Platform”) is a discovery and comparison service for tours, tickets and experiences in Egypt. We help you find and compare experiences offered by third-party operators and travel platforms, and we link you out to those providers to complete a booking.

For partner experiences, we are a discovery and comparison service, not the seller: we link you out to the third-party operator, who takes payment and fulfils your booking under their own terms.

For experiences marked “This is Egypt Original”, we are the seller. You book and pay securely on this site, we issue your confirmation, and our booking, cancellation and refund terms in Section 3 apply.

Listings, prices, ratings, reviews and availability shown on the Platform are aggregated from third-party providers and are indicative only. They may be out of date, and the final price, terms, availability and cancellation policy are those shown on the provider’s own site at the time you book. Always review the provider’s details and terms before purchasing.

Partner experiences.All bookings, payments, changes, cancellations and refunds are handled entirely by the third-party operator under their own terms. We are not a party to that transaction and are not responsible for the operator’s performance or the experience itself. Any dispute should be raised directly with the operator.

This is Egypt Originals.You pay securely at checkout through our payment provider; we never see or store your card details. You’ll receive an emailed confirmation with a booking reference. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your start timeis eligible for a full refund to your original payment method (typically 5–14 business days). Cancellations within 24 hours of the start time are non-refundable, except where required by law. To cancel or amend, contact us with your confirmation number by email or on WhatsApp.

You agree to use the Platform lawfully and not to scrape, copy, resell, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it. You may not use the Platform to infringe others’ rights or to post unlawful content.

The Platform’s design, branding and original content are owned by This is Egypt. Provider names, images and content belong to their respective owners and are shown for reference and comparison.

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your dealings with a third-party provider or from reliance on aggregated information.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
