About Hapi
Hapi is a traditional sailing dahabiya that trades the pace of the motor-cruisers for the rhythm of wind and current on the river. The long eight-day, seven-night itinerary gives time to settle into life on deck and watch the banks drift slowly past.
The route runs between Aswan and Luxor, calling at Kom Ombo, Edfu and Esna along the way, with weekly Saturday departures from both ends. Sailing this quiet reach, the boat can linger at the smaller temples and villages that larger ships hurry past.
Meals are full board throughout, and the small scale of the boat keeps the experience personal and calm from first day to last.
