About Hapi

Hapi is a traditional sailing dahabiya that trades the pace of the motor cruisers for the rhythm of wind and current. Operated by Extension Travel, it runs two programmes on the quiet Luxor to Aswan reach: seven nights as a Luxor round trip, or five nights one way to Aswan.

The route calls at Esna, Edfu and Kom Ombo. Sailing this stretch, the boat can linger at the smaller temples and villages the larger ships hurry past, and moor where they cannot.

Meals are full board throughout, with an onboard drinks package of water, fresh juice, tea and coffee, and Wi-Fi on board. Peak dates carry a compulsory 50% supplement and a suite runs about 70% above the double-cabin rate, so a festive-date suite approaches double the quiet-season fare.
