About Farouz El Nil II
Farouz El Nil II is a small wind-powered dahabiya carrying up to twelve guests in six deluxe cabins of 16 square metres each, arranged over three decks. Built in 2018, it follows the classic Nile route between Luxor and Aswan, stopping at Esna, Edfu and Kom Ombo on five- or seven-night sailings.
The cabins have panoramic windows, private bathrooms with shower and hairdryer, adjustable air-conditioning, a minibar and an in-cabin safety box. With so few guests aboard and the boat under sail, the river sets the rhythm of the day.
Dining is served in the main restaurant, with a lounge and salon to relax in and a sun deck bar for meals in the open air. Reception is staffed 24 hours, and a doctor is available on call.
