About Farouz El Nil III
Farouz El Nil III is a small wind-powered dahabiya that hosts up to twelve guests across six deluxe cabins of 16 square metres each, over three decks. Built in 2018, it sails the well-known stretch of the Nile between Luxor and Aswan, calling at Esna, Edfu and Kom Ombo on itineraries of five or seven nights.
Every cabin has panoramic windows, a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, adjustable air-conditioning, a minibar and an in-cabin safety box. The small guest count and the sails keep the pace slow and quiet along the water.
There is a main restaurant for meals, a lounge and salon for downtime, and a sun deck with a bar for dining outdoors. Reception is open around the clock, with a doctor available on call.
