About Meroe

Meroe is a Nour El Nil dahabiya carrying up to twenty guests in eight Luxury Rooms and two Panoramic Suites, its larger cabins and generous deck striking a balance between the traditional boat and something roomier. Shaded seating, a salon and open-air dining fill the time between moorings.

The six-day sail covers roughly 250 kilometres from Esna to Aswan, calling at the Temple of Khnum, El Kab and Edfu, Gebel Silsileh and Kom Ombo, with a full sailing day for a walk, a swim from the boat or an afternoon watching the sun drop behind the bank. All meals, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

The boat runs year-round except June to August, with Wi-Fi aboard but kept light.
