Guided Tour To Alexandria From Cairo

We had an excellent day trip to Alexandria, it was made more special and fun by Hady our driver, who was very thoughtful, knowledgeable and funny, he made the journey enjoyable and no pressure on time at the sites we visited. We went to the Citadel of Qaitbay which had wonderful coastal views of Alexandria. The mosque we visited was under restoration at the time but very beautiful from the outside. The library is very interesting it’s not just a library but holds museum exhibitions and historical artefacts. The catacombs are also interesting, much larger than you think and deep underground. Yo

Amazing day trip! The pick up and drop off worked very smoothly and the guide was so informative and friendly. Alexandria - a really incredible city. This tour took in all the key sights and we even stopped for a traditional Egyptian lunch. Highly recommend.

We drove up to Alexandria from Cairo early, had a stop on the way to have breakfast at a great pastry place. We then met our guide once we got there. It was a nice experience overall, though, the driver and the guide definitely made it even better. Driver was so genuine, kind and polite, whereas the lady guide was so positive, warm and knowledgeable. In my experience, I’ve noticed people would always match your energy, so make the first step and you’ll have the experience you expected you’d have.
