In Luxor, Dendera and Esna, curated by Odysseys Voyage, you’ll explore some of ancient Egypt’s most impressive temples and tombs. On the East and West Banks of the Nile you’ll see the monumental Karnak Temple complex, visit the Valley of the Kings to view its royal tombs, and approach the striking mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. As you move through these sites, you’ll encounter towering columns, carved reliefs and architectural features that illustrate ancient religious and funerary practices. You’ll also travel to Dendera to admire the well-preserved Temple of Hathor, noted for its vivid reliefs and celestial ceiling art, and finish in Esna at the Temple of Khnum, a finely detailed site often described as a hidden gem. Along the way, the focus will be on history, culture and archaeological detail. Domestic flights and hotel accommodation are not included and would be at the traveller’s own expense.
