About Nuut
Nuut is fifty metres of traditional wooden dahabiya under two lateen sails, one at the bow and one at the stern. She carries at most twelve guests in six air-conditioned cabins of 21 sqm and two 25 sqm suites with their own terraces, each with a private bathroom.
She sails between Esna and Aswan on charters of three, four and seven nights, in both directions, by way of Kom Ombo, Edfu, El Kab, Gebel el-Silsila and Beshir Island, with an eight-day Luxor round trip that also takes in Philae. October through April brings the coolest temperatures and the most consistent winds.
The wooden sun deck carries comfy chairs, awnings, daybeds and a bar, with an Arabic seating area alongside, while the salon holds sofas and a dining table. Full-board cuisine drawn from Egyptian recipes can be taken al fresco on deck, and an accompanying motorboat comes along for calm-wind days.
