About Molouky
Molouky is a two-deck sailing dahabiya of six wood-panelled suites, each an identical 22 sq m with panoramic windows and its own bathroom, carrying up to twelve guests between Luxor and Aswan. The small size lets it moor at islands like Al Ramady and villages such as El Sheikh Fadl that the big ships pass by.
Life aboard moves slowly. There is a main restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, a lounge bar and a sun-deck bar, buffets through the day with an afternoon tea service, and an open-air jacuzzi on the upper deck for watching the banks drift past. Wi-Fi runs throughout the boat.
Programmes run a five-night sail from Luxor to Aswan or a seven-night round trip returning to Luxor, calling at Esna, Edfu and Kom Ombo along the way.
