About Lazuli Gordon Pacha

The second vessel to join the Lazuli fleet, Gordon Pacha is one of the most characterful boats they run: a warm, intimate twin-masted dahabiya of darker wood and richly detailed decor, carrying twelve guests in six cabins. Two suites share a rear balcony, four standard cabins come in twin and large-bed layouts, and the Old English inspired interiors move from soft white and blue in the cabins to rich red and raspberry in the common areas.

Her sail follows the quiet Esna-to-Aswan reach, mooring at river islands such as Fawaza and Herdiab and calling at Edfu, Gebel el-Silsila, Kom Ombo and the village of Daraw, with the Aswan and Luxor sites at either end. A cosy library-salon with booths and a billiard table sits below, while the upper deck carries misting-fan dining, an open-air bar and shaded relaxation areas as the twin masts draw her upriver.

Meals are full board, Egyptian traditional cuisine cooked on board, with water, tea, coffee and hibiscus included. Solar panels heat the water and power the boat, and every cabin carries fire detectors and life jackets.
