What to pack for Egypt in September

Still hot, still sun-exposed — pack as for high summer, easing slightly late in the month. Loose, light, long-sleeved cottons and linens to keep the sun off (and appropriate at mosques and churches, where covered shoulders and knees are expected), plus a wide-brim hat, sunglasses, high-factor and reef-safe sunscreen, and a refillable water bottle.
