Cairo night tour : Khan ElKhalili, mosque, dinner + faluca sunset
A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
Your guide will meet you at your hotel to begin an evening in Cairo that combines history, food and a gentle river ride. You will explore Khan El Khalili bazaar and walk along the street to the Muez, an open‑air museum with more than a thousand architectural wonders. Along the way you will enter Al‑Hakim Mosque, where the interior reveals a quiet, spiritual space. You will also stop at cafe Fishaway (Coffee of Mirrors), which serves traditional Egyptian drinks such as mint tea. Later you will board a felucca, a traditional wooden sailing vessel propelled only by the wind, for a slow, relaxing trip on the water. For dinner you can choose between koshari — a mix of rice, lentils, pasta and chickpeas served at the restaurant Abu Tarek — or shorma with thin slices of meat or chicken at Papa Abdu, or a vegetarian falafel option. The evening typically includes an Egyptian sweet, Zalabya, to finish your meal.
