About Viking Ptah
Floated out in 2026, the Viking Ptah is scheduled to debut that September as a purpose-built Nile ship in Viking's clean, understated Scandinavian style. Like her sisters she hosts 82 guests in 41 outside staterooms, from 21.6 m² Standard Staterooms to two 62.9 m² Explorer Suites, with six 38 m² Veranda Suites in between.
She sails the 12-day Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary, a Cairo round-trip that calls at Luxor, Qena, Esna, Aswan, Kom Ombo and Edfu with 11 guided tours. Meals are served in The Restaurant beneath floor-to-ceiling windows, while the indoor-outdoor Aquavit Terrace opens onto the river for casual dining.
A Pool & Sun Deck tops the ship with 360-degree views and shaded seating, and the Main Lounge & Bar, library and onboard shop fill the hours between excursions. Free Wi-Fi runs throughout, with laundry service and an elevator between the Main and Pool decks.
