About Viking Aton
Built in 2023 and carrying just 82 guests across five decks, the Viking Aton was designed specifically for the Nile in Viking's clean, understated Scandinavian style. All 41 staterooms face outside, from 21.6 m² Standard Staterooms to a pair of 62.9 m² Explorer Suites, with six 38 m² Veranda Suites in between.
Days follow the river between Cairo, Luxor, Qena, Esna, Aswan, Kom Ombo and Edfu, with 11 guided tours built into the round-trip itinerary. Onboard, meals are served in The Restaurant behind floor-to-ceiling windows, while the indoor-outdoor Aquavit Terrace brings casual dining to the water's edge.
Above, the Pool & Sun Deck opens to 360-degree views with shaded seating, and the Main Lounge & Bar, library and onboard shop fill the quieter hours. Free Wi-Fi runs throughout, with laundry service and an elevator between the Main and Pool decks.
