About MS Acamar
The Acamar is a five-star ship of 54 cabins and 4 suites across five decks, and one of the more accessible cruisers on the Nile: it has an elevator and four dedicated accessible cabins of 27 square metres, giving broadly step-free movement around the ship. Standard cabins run to 21 square metres, with Presidential and 42-square-metre Royal Suites above them.
The main restaurant serves an open buffet of international and local dishes. The sun deck carries a swimming pool with a pool bar and a barbecue space, and there is a spa and massage centre with a free sauna and steam room, plus a gym. Nightly entertainment, a gift shop, a 24-hour doctor and laundry complete the picture, with Wi-Fi available onboard.
Sailings run year-round between Luxor and Aswan by way of Esna, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Philae, with time at the Valley of the Kings: three nights from Aswan on Fridays, four nights from Luxor on Mondays, or an eight-day round trip, with Abu Simbel available as an extension.
