MS Amwaj Living Stone

In operation since 2014, the Amwaj Living Stone is a five-star deluxe ship of 62 cabins, including 16 suites, over four decks and some 800 square metres of floor area plus a sundeck. Standard cabins run to 20 square metres, with Junior Suites at 30, Presidential Suites at 40 and Royal Suites at 50 square metres; the cabins are soundproofed.

The main restaurant covers 256 square metres and seats 136 for its international buffet. A 245-square-metre lounge bar seats 129, and a further sun-deck bar seats 134. The sun deck itself carries a swimming pool with an open-air jacuzzi and shaded seating among its sun beds, while the spa adds a massage bed, sauna, Turkish bath and gym. Wi-Fi is available onboard.

Sailings run year-round on the temple corridor: three nights from Aswan to Luxor, four nights in reverse, or an eight-day round trip, taking in Esna, Edfu, Kom Ombo, the High Dam and Philae, with Abu Simbel available as an extension.
