On this full-day guided tour of Luxor, you’ll follow a certified Egyptologist through some of ancient Egypt’s most famous sites. In the Valley of the Kings you’ll explore the tombs of Egypt’s powerful pharaohs and step inside some of the most beautifully decorated burial chambers, as your guide explains the rituals and mysteries of royal burials. You’ll also visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a striking monument built for the most successful female pharaoh in history. You will then go on to the Karnak Temples, the largest religious complex ever built, where you’ll marvel at its scale and craftsmanship. Walk through vast courtyards and past majestic pylons, and enter the Great Hypostyle Hall to see the forest of towering columns. Along the way, your guide will bring the mythology and history of ancient Thebes to life. Lunch is included.
