On this two-day private Cairo sightseeing experience, a private Egyptologist will guide you through the city’s most famous and lesser-known ancient sites. Transport, entry fees and lunches are included. On the first day you will visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, then extend the tour to Sakkara to see Egypt’s oldest pyramid and explore the nearby site of Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt. On the second day you will explore Old Cairo, visiting its mosques, churches and bustling bazaars, and then head to the Egyptian Museum to view the treasures of King Tutankhamun and the mummies. Along the way the Egyptologist will explain the history and significance of each site so you gain deeper context. A complimentary camel ride in the Sahara of the Pyramids is included, together with an entry ticket to one of the pyramids.
