Overview
You will take a cultural exploration of Luxor with a driver and guide who will pick you up from anywhere in the city. Along the way you will visit the Valley of the Kings, considered by many to be Luxor’s top attraction, and the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut. You will also see the Tombs of the Nobles, visiting about three tombs that are known for their colourful decoration and inscriptions, before finishing at the Colossi of Memnon. As part of the day you will pause for a meal at a family restaurant serving local food. The tour also includes a visit to the house of archaeologist Howard Carter, a museum that contains his belongings and tools. No shops of any kind will be visited. Please note the experience is not wheelchair accessible.
