Downtown Cairo Half-Day Tour with Egyptian Dinner

I started my day visiting Abiden Palace OUTSIDE! Then immediately going to Papyrus shop, perfumes shop, jewelry shop and cotton shop! Jumping to Giza pyramids and paying for a camel ride and paying for a horse ride! I booked a 1/2 day in Cairo and I was taken to Giza. I told my guide several times that Giza was on my itinerary for the following day I told my guide that that I already have pyramids and camel ride already scheduled for my tour the next day. He insisted we go to Giza the same day we do the 1/2 day tour. His response was that what he will show me is better then what I will be seei

This was the worse service we received while in Cairo. Our tour was supposed to start at 3pm , at 315pm no one arrived to pick us up so we called - made 3 attempts but to NO AVAIL. We reached out via the messenger app they communicated with us from prior to being in Cairo, but still no reply. We also reached out internally through Viator and no response either. At 430 we decided that they will not be doing the tour so we canceled. We're hopeful to get our refund in FULL. It was a 4 hour tour planned for the day and we were basically left with nothing to do for the day. Very disappointed.

This was the worst private tour ever. To start, the the car sent to pick us up was tiny, smelled like an ashtray, and hot. The tour guide was terrible. He did more joking around than providing information. We were taken specifically deep into the slums of old Cairo to stores ready to take my wallet for a ride. One of the store owners even pushed me in the back when he understood I was not going to buy anything from him. We sat in traffic with windows down for at least an hour and a half. My wife and I felt like we were escaping rather than completing what should have been fun evening.

I went with my friends and we had a very good time. The food was delicious and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. Don't second guess yourself buy this tour.
