Worst tour company I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime. We booked the 5 Day cruise from Luxor to Aswan with a flight from Cairo in early January for 14th February on Viator so well in advance. Viator confirmed our ticket and pickup point but I received absolutely no communication from Mody Egyptian Tours despite several emails asking for confirmation. So no pick up happened ! Eventually got a WhatsApp from Eriny, Sales Manager at Mody Tours 2hrs after pickup saying they had troubles with emails. Some frantic messaging over the day and next day, no flights no train no apology, just told to ask

De plekken waar je komt zijn wondermooi, enkel de organisatie laat te wensen over. Wij betaalden voor een 5 daagse reis die in 4 dagen gepropt is geweest. We moesten bijbetalen voor de Abu Simbel terwijl dat in de prijs inbegrepen was. Dit hoorden we van onze medereizigers en wat we niet wisten dat er een ballonvaart ook inbegrepen was waar we ook extra voor moesten betalen. Wij hebben dit allemaal via Get Your Guide geboekt en nooit zowel van Get Your Guide als Mody tours een refund gekregen. Ook liet de gids veel steken vallen en was meer met zijn GSM bezig dan met ons.

Die geringe Anzahl der Passagiere und die Kompaktheit des Schiffes trug zu einer besonders intensiven Stimmung bei. Reiseführer und Archäologe Mohammed Sadek legte uns die Vergangenheit der Pharaonen genauso leidenschaftlich dar wie das moderne Ägypten! Absolut empfehlenswerter Guide!

Le voyage était en février 2023. J’ai découvert l’Egypte. Notre guide Ali était très compétent et très professionnel. C’est un homme bienveillant, intelligent et sensible. Ce fut un superbe voyage avec un groupe très sympathique. Un voyage inoubliable !

My 16 year old wanted to see Egypt since he was 3. I'm here to say that it was well worth the wait. He has come away with a new found appreciation and understanding of the Ancient Egyption period. I think a trip like this should be on everyone's bucket list.
