From Cairo: 8-Day Tour of Cairo, Luxor and Aswan with Cruise

Special thanks to Nice Tours for taking care of us from day one to day eight (We were 2). Our coordinator was Merena from Nice Tours who remained professional throughout, special thanks for her dedication, who did everything to satisfy our needs. Among all the guides we would like to particularly thank Reem Refat.

We visited the pyramids and the sphinx, and our Mazen guide for the first day was super, very friendly, interesting, very good advice and very good photographer.

What looked like a great trip on paper ended up being a bit disappointing. The issues we encountered mainly had to do with poor planning/communication skills from the agency, as well as some bad experiences with guides. For instance, months before the trip, the agency agreed to find us a driver to pick us up at the airport, since we arrived a day before the start of the tour, then denied having agreed to this just hours before we were about to land in Cairo. Another example is that even though we booked the tour six months ago, they only actually made all the bookings five days in advance. As

Omar was our guide for a fanastic visit to the pyramids. He is a very knowledgable and engaging person. We couldn't have hoped for a better guide. We highly recommend him.

Trip of a lifetime. The whole experience was top tier from start to finish. The driver was excellent. Our guide, Jasmine, was very professional and informed. Would recommend to anyone.

This was undoubtedly the worst experience / tour I've ever had while traveling. It started a month before my tour date when I tried contacting the operator to ask questions. I tried multiple ways to contact them and did not get any responses for a month. That was my first red flag that I should have canceled the tour but I went ahead with it anyway, in hindsight, a huge regret. The day before the tour was supposed to start they did contact me but replies to any of my questions were extremely slow, some responses taking up to 12 hours.
