I paid $155 USD for a 6 hour private tour of the pyramids on a layover from Cairo airport for myself and my 9 year old son. Whilst Ahmad greeted us and took us to the car, he drove with the windows down the entire trip and we were freezing. He even locked the rear window down at one point so we were frozen, Ahmad himself had 3 hooded jackets on! We picked up our guide on the way to Giza by the side of the road. Straight away I sensed a bit of an attitude when and I found him a little passive aggressive when I said we had only learned a little Arabic and when asking us if we knew the names of t
