On this private Cairo sightseeing tour you will explore some of the city's most celebrated sites with a qualified Egyptologist guide and a private car. You will visit the Egyptian Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of pharaonic antiquities, and view its highlights, including the funerary treasures of Tutankhamun. Along the way your guide will provide context and commentary tailored to your interests. You will also see the historic heart of Islamic Cairo, where important mosques are clustered, including the Mohamed Ali Mosque at the old Citadel. Very good experience. We learnt a lot about the city and it’s capital. It was a bit rushed sometimes and included visits to two shops where we could see more if we used the time spent there on actually seeing more of the city. Lunch was a take away we received at the end so not worth the price.
