   Day 1 – Cairo: Giza Pyramids & the Grand Egyptian Museum

   Meet your guide for the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the neighbouring pyramids and the Great Sphinx, then the Grand Egyptian Museum. The afternoon takes in Old Cairo and the bazaar of Khan el-Khalili.

   Day 2 – Fly to Aswan: Philae Temple & the High Dam

   A domestic flight to Aswan and embarkation on the cruise. Visits to the island temple of Philae and the Aswan High Dam before the boat begins its journey north.

   Day 3 – Sailing to Kom Ombo & Edfu

   Cruise downriver to the twin temple of Sobek and Horus at Kom Ombo, then the vast falcon temple of Edfu, passing through the Esna lock as you sail toward Luxor.

   Day 4 – Luxor East Bank: Karnak & Luxor Temple

   Explore the great hypostyle hall and sacred precinct of Karnak, then Luxor Temple beside the Nile with its avenue of sphinxes.

   Day 5 – Luxor West Bank & return flight

   Cross to the West Bank for the royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's terraced temple and the Colossi of Memnon, before your domestic flight back to Cairo.
