About The Oberoi Philae, Luxury Nile Cruiser
The Oberoi Philae holds just twenty-two cabins and suites for up to forty-four guests across five decks, so space is generous throughout. Luxury Cabins run to 36 m² with floor-to-ceiling windows that open, while the two Luxury Suites with Private Terrace add a 30 m² deck and a heated whirlpool. The main restaurant serves Western, Indian, Asian and Middle Eastern dishes prepared on board, with a top-deck poolside restaurant for lunchtime barbecues and a bar, library and cigar lounge for the evenings.
Wellbeing is a strong suit: the Oberoi Spa has private therapy suites, the gymnasium is open around the clock, and an eleven-metre temperature-controlled pool looks over the river from the top deck. A cinema, a dance floor, a beauty salon and a lift complete the on-board offering.
Four- and six-night sailings run between Luxor and Aswan, the longer itinerary adding Dendera and Abydos, with an Egyptologist accompanying excursions ashore. Wireless internet reaches all cabins and public areas.
