About Sanctuary Nile Adventurer

The Sanctuary Nile Adventurer spreads thirty-two cabins across five decks, with river-facing standard cabins of 14–17 m², two 21 m² junior suites and two 42 m² Presidential Suites that open onto private wraparound balconies at the bow. The sun deck is finished in teak and set with a heated swimming pool and private cabanas, above a shaded deck with outdoor and terrace bars.

Meals in the restaurant run from Egyptian and international breakfasts through buffet lunches to gourmet dinners, with regional dishes such as kushari and mahshi and a wine list alongside. A lounge, library, cinema, gift shop, small gym and massage room fill out the interior, and an Egyptologist accompanies each sailing.

Itineraries link Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu and Luxor, taking in the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's temple and Karnak, with Philae at Aswan.

Board before lunch. Karnak and Luxor Temple the same afternoon, which is the one thing the three-night sailing does not cut.

The tombs at first light, back on board for lunch, and the ship sails south through the Esna lock the same day. On the four-night programme this is two days; here it is one, and it is a long one.
