About MS Eugenie
MS Eugenie was the first ship to sail Lake Nasser, opening the lake to tourism. Built in 1993 in the style of a turn-of-the-century Nile steamship, the 74-metre vessel carries 52 cabins and two suites over four decks, with warm wooden panelling, an Edwardian-style main lounge, a Safari Lounge and a library.
Many cabins on the upper and main decks open onto private balconies; the Imperatrice Suite spans 100 square metres with its own terrace and Jacuzzi bathroom. All cabins have an ensuite bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Dining is full board, with a candlelight dinner on selected nights, and there is a lounge bar.
On Lake Nasser the ship sails between Aswan and Abu Simbel, calling at Kalabsha, Wadi El Seboua, Amada and Kasr Ibrim, with a swimming pool, sun decks, sauna, oriental steam bath and exercise equipment on board.
