Panoramica
La vostra guida vi attenderà nella hall del vostro hotel o in aeroporto per iniziare la giornata. Viaggerete fino a Saqqara, sito di numerose tombe risalenti alla I e II dinastia, la maggior parte delle quali costruite in mattoni di fango, mentre alcune sono realizzate in pietra calcarea. Visiterete anche Menfi, un tempo sede della residenza reale principale e quartier generale sia del visir del nord che del sommo sacerdote del dio di stato Ptah. A Dahshur potrete ammirare la Piramide Romboidale e la Piramide Rossa, esempi impressionanti degli sviluppi architettonici che portarono alla costruzione della Grande Piramide e delle altre piramidi di Giza. In seguito, potrete godervi un giro in feluca sul fiume Nilo, ammirando viste panoramiche sui ponti, le rive e le torri del Cairo, mentre la vostra guida vi indicherà i punti di riferimento lungo il percorso. Se lo desiderate, potrete gustare un pranzo tradizionale a bordo della feluca; in alternativa, se preferite non mangiare a bordo, potrete pranzare dopo la navigazione. L'escursione si conclude con il rientro in hotel o all'aeroporto.

The sites were amazing. I had a lot of trouble with the guide. I could not understand his English well due to his accent. I also found his explanations limited and lacking in substance. When in the car he spent considerable time conversing with the driver. He also pushed other tours and shopping of which I told him I had no interest in either.
PYRAMIDS, were amazing, but we may just have gone on our own. MEMPHIS, was a complete waste of time, it is not a city, it is a small area about the size of a football field with bits of stone lying around. The ONLY thing of interest is the large statue. You need to decide if it is worth the price. FELUCCA, they did not really want to take us to the felucca so they ended up driving past our hotel and then trying their best to convince us not to go BECAUSE I was not sure if I would want to go if the felucca looked awful. I guess they did not think it worth it for a maybe, so we gave up and went
