3-Day Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor

Board a full-board cruise ship in Aswan and sail slowly downriver to Luxor over three unhurried days, tracing the same green ribbon of the Nile the pharaohs did. The rhythm is gentle: mornings ashore among the temples, afternoons on deck watching feluccas, palm groves and mudbrick villages slide past. From Aswan you head north to Kom Ombo, the unusual double temple shared between Sobek the crocodile god and Horus the falcon, standing right at the water's edge.    Meet your guide and board the cruise ship in Aswan for lunch. Settle into your cabin and enjoy the first afternoon on deck as the ship prepares to sail north.

   Day 2 — Kom Ombo & Edfu

   Visit the riverside double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek and Horus, then continue to Edfu to explore the towering, well-preserved Temple of Horus. Sail on through the afternoon.
