Having done the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshetsup's Tomb etc, we had a spare day to do this tour and what a revelation. The Valley of the Workers was quiet but unusually spectacular and contains some of the best painted tombs on the West Bank, if not all Egypt. The Temple of Rameses 3 is an overlooked gem and although the Valley of the Nobles was less well -preserved, still worth a visit.

This tour was one of the best tours I've ever undertaken. All thanks to Ragab, my tour guide (and Egyptologist) who was exceptional in every way. His knowledge of ancient egypt is first class. And he'll test you as well haha! You must do this tour with Ragab!! So glad I did this tour.
