Tour of the East Bank in Luxor

In 3 amiche, abbiamo fatto un viaggio in Egitto dall’1 all’ 8 febbraio 26, Crociera + Cairo. Inizialmente abbiamo chiesto il preventivo a due operatori locali, alla Viaggiare nel Mondo e alla Memphis Tour. Abbiamo scelto la Viaggiare nel Mondo ma poi, arrivate in Egitto, i servizi erano forniti dalla Memphis Tours e dalla Safari Tour. In buona sostanza sono 3 Operatori che fanno tutti capo alla stessa proprietà. Il viaggio è andato molto bene ed i servizi sono stati tutti puntuali. Mi familia y yo realizamos un maravilloso viaje durante cuatro días por las orillas del Nilo, en el que pudimos empaparnos de unas vistas increíbles y visitar los templos, para lo que nos acompañó el guía Juan (Yehia El-Gizawy), que hizo que todo fuese muy interesante y que nos lo pasáramos muy bien. Un guía estupendo que transmite su pasión por su país.

We did this the day after the West Bank, both tours with Memphis and the same guide and driver. Really looked after us and tailored the tour to what we wanted. Our guide Beshoy was very experienced and knowledgable while allowing us plenty of free time to just enjoy the experience too. Door to door transport in a comfortable car felt very safe. Karnak and Luxor temples of course are a must if you are here and completely live up to expectations. A lot has been reconstructed using all the original material that was buried and done in a very sympathetic way, to show the full awe of the locations

Hany, our guide for 4 days as we cruised down the Nile, provided excellent insight into our ability to understand the history behind the building of these amazing temples and tombs. We were able to put into a more relatable context the ways of being and doing in ancient Egypt because his delivery of so much information was simplistic and clear. The scope of all that we saw was a bit daunting- so much to see! Hany’s expertise and authoritative command of Egyptology is remarkable.
