Overview

You will start on the east bank with a visit to the Karnak Temples, whose construction stretched from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco‑Roman Kingdom. As you move through the site, your guide will point out the different building phases and the main features that reflect that long history. The tour then continues to Luxor Temple, which was begun by Amunhotep III in the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom and completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty.
