Everything you need to see in Alexandria with a great guide. Nour was super nice, knowledgeable, and incredible with time management at every stop. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore the city with a private guide.
We really enjoyed our day trip to Alexandria. Ashraf our Egyptologist guide and Nour our driver from Tree of Life Tours were both phenomenal. They made us feel so comfortable, safe and engaged the entire day. We went to the theater complex, catacombs, had a delicious lunch at the fish market overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, then off to the modern library and the lighthouse. Ashraf also opted to take us to another site where we learned the history of papyrus paper and saw a demonstration on how it’s made. I would definitely recommend this tour with Ashraf and Nour!
We had a great time in Alexandria! Our tour guide, Ashraf, is a great, genuine person and tour guide. We drove to Alexandria with a rest stop in the middle to pick up coffee. Once we made it in Alexandria, we visited the catacombs, monuments, and the amphitheater. My daughter had sun poisoning from a previous tour, and Ashraf was very kind to take us to a hospital and pharmacy to get her medicine. What a great person! This tour is everything you want and more. There are plenty of sights wrapped up in just one day tour, which makes it even more appealing. Radwan was by far one the best guides I have ever had the pleasure to go on a tour with. A great Egyptologist, always with an answer to any question I would have and further explanations when needed, fully knowledgeable about the culture and history of Egypt. The trip itself was smooth and I had a lovely time altogether. I highly recommend this tour. Don't hesitate to ask for Radwan as your tour guide, you'll also find a friend in him in Egypt.
The trip to Alexandria was memorable. With great sights and great stories associated with them really made the place interesting The reason I gave a two star was because our guide - Mr Khaled was not good at all. He would explain everything at the entrance of every site and would just wait for us at the entrance rather than doing a walk-through with us at the location. It was added by the fact that he was always in a hurry to head back to Cairo. He even discouraged us from visiting the Modern Library which was one of the must visit places in Alexandria. Overall our trip just ended up being not
