Overview
This night tour begins with a driver collecting you from your hotel and taking you to some of the most historically important sites from ancient Egypt’s Old Kingdom. As you move through the area, you will hear about the building of the pyramids and about famous figures from ancient Egypt, including Thutmosis IV, Akhnaten, Nefertiti and Tut Ankh Amon. At Giza you will attend the sound and light show that illuminates the pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus. The performance opens with the Sphinx being lit and narrating the history of the pyramids and their builders, and it also portrays the story of how the pyramids were built. After the show you will be returned to your hotel.
