Spend the evening at the Philae Temple Sound and Light Show, a narrated multimedia presentation that guides you through the legends of Goddess Isis and God Osiris. As the lights play across the ancient stone, the show will vividly reveal the form and majesty of the temple. You will walk through the magnificent temple while its history is narrated, enjoying the dramatic visuals that bring the stories and architecture to life. You will also hear about the temple’s more recent past: historically the site was flooded for six months each year, and in the 1960s an extensive restoration programme moved the temple, stone by stone, to its current location. After the performance, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
