The real joy of this experience seeing the sunset behind the pyramids. We arrived with plenty of time for sunset. The temperatures were cooler and you did not have a barrage of tourists or of locals demanding tips for everything. That alone made this a worthwhile experience. You can easily get great photos without other people in them. Seeing the pyramids lit up at night was also well worth the time and price. Our guide was Jimmy and he was probably the best tour guide we had in our whole two weeks in Egypt. I wish we had had him for other tours (because this tour had little explaining necessa
