Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Wekalet El Ghouri area, a historic complex built in 1504 AD during the reign of the Mamluks. The evening begins with selections of Egyptian folk music performed by local musicians, giving you a direct sense of the country’s musical heritage. After that, you’ll see the Tanoura show, a form of Egyptian folk dance presented by the troupe “Tanoura for Cultural Heritage,” a group that has performed in more than 30 countries. The night concludes with a special Spiritual Dervish (Darawish) performance, which brings a contemplative and ceremonial close to the programme.
