Had an awesome time. Doaa (our guide) got us to all the best places and made it where my husband even enjoyed shopping. Ahmed (driver) was great and took care of all our bags. A very fun evening was had.
I had a really disappointing experience. The saffron I bought turned out to be fake when I tested it at home. On top of that, the coffee I purchased was ten times more expensive than the same coffee I bought fresh from the mall after the tour. There was nothing special about the experience. The guide should ensure that they present trustworthy vendors who sell authentic, not fake, items.
In this tour he took us to variety of different shopping areas, all of the vendors outside of the bazaar were very kind and welcoming; we weren’t pressure to buy anything. The food was good, guide/driver arrived on timed. If your taking a later tour, make sure your prepared for the hustle and bustle of Cairo - it’s busy even at night! Lol.
