Overview

You will begin with pick-up from your hotel in Hurghada and travel to Luxor to explore some of ancient Egypt’s most famous sites. At the Temple of Karnak you will see the vast columned halls, the chapels and the sacred lake that form part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. After time there, you will enjoy lunch at a selected restaurant in Luxor before crossing to the opposite bank of the Nile by felucca. On the west bank you will explore the City of the Dead and view the Colossi of Memnon, the remaining statues from the Temple of Amenhotep III. You will continue to the Valley of the Kings to see the site of the royal tombs, and visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, built for the great queen who ruled ancient Egypt. Along the way you will have opportunities to admire the architecture and learn about the history behind these monuments. At the end of the day you will return to land and be transferred back to your hotel in Hurghada.
