Full Day Trip to Alexandria From Cairo

Overview

Full-day guided tour of Alexandria's highlights, including the Kom Elshokafa Catacombs, Pompey's Pillar, Alexandria Library, Quitbay Fortress, and the Roman Amphitheater. Your tour guide will pick you up from your Cairo hotel and accompany you throughout the day. Begin driving to Alexandria (03 Hours). Arrive in Alexandria and begin your guided tour at The Catacombs (a Roman tomb dating back to the second century), followed by a visit to Pompey's Pillar ( Ruins of the Serabium ). Continue to Kom Eddekka to see the Roman Amphitheater. Lunch break (seafood or Egyptian specialties) (Vegeterian is available). After lunch, we will continue our tours to the Quitbay Fortress, which was built on the ruins of an ancient lighthouse. Transfer to the Alexandria Library to watch it before returning to Cairo.
