From Luxor Cairo Pyramids Grand Egyptian Museum Lunch Day Trip

An absolutely incredible day, my guide Doha and driver Mohammed were fantastic, I couldn’t have asked for a better team. Doha is very knowledgeable, so passionate about history of Egypt sharing that passion with visitors to the country, she is a wonderful personality, very professional, and I was able to see all of the sites in a day, including the pyramids, the sphinx, the grand museum, and the sailing on the Nile.

Dalia was an amazing guide and made our visit to the Pyramids and Sphinx unforgettable. From the moment we met her, she welcomed us with a big smile and made us feel completely looked after. She was warm, caring, and thoughtful, even sharing sweets and giving us a few small souvenirs and a lovely gift. Our driver, Ahmed, was excellent too—arriving early and making the pickup smooth and stress-free. The start of the day wasn’t too great as our taxi driver got lost meaning we had to ask the flight captain for permission to board as boarding had closed. The experience of the pyramids was great and of the museum too although our guide was rushed and spoke far too fast for us to understand what he was saying even though I asked him to slow down. We didn’t get a felucca ride which was extremely disappointing as we were looking forward to that. What we got was a normal petrol stinking boat. The food at lunch was just ok.
