Ab Kairo: Katakomben, Leuchtturm & Zitadelle von Alexandria mit Mittagessen

This tour was disappointing in that it was not really a small group tour. There were approximately 30 people on the tour with the result that it was difficult to hear the guide, particularly in crowded areas. The guide also did not give a great deal of information about each site, probably due to the difficulty of communicating to a large group with no electronic whisper units.

This was a fantastic day. Our guide and driver were great. 1 star was lost because we booked a port pickup which was important for us and had no choice but to agree to get to a hotel outside the port despite that booking. It was difficult to walk to and the hotel knew nothing about us.

My guide was lovely and knowledgeable but the tour only lasted about 3.5 hours max. Granted a lot of things were closed but they shouldn't have quoted me for $95 dollars and when I requested to go to the Catacombs I was asked to pay an additional $25. We drove by the tomb of the unknown solider and simply walked and took photos of the castle along the coast. Since the library was closed they should have comped me the Catacomb visit. That 3.5 hour included the visit but the description states 5 to 6 hours. I'd like half of my money back, if not more. Id stay away from this experience.

Le guide a été très gentil et connaissait ses sujets. Par contre nous avons payé pour une excursion Privé et en Français... mais le service qu'on a eu a été une excursion de groupe en anglais (sans aucune compensation financière)... sans compter que nous devions être accueilli au port et au final nous avons dû rejoindre le groupe par nos propre moyen a l'extérieur du port. Ce fût facile, mais encore une fois pas comme ce qui nous avait été vendu.
