Overview

Have you ever heard of molokhiya?? Or when you are cooking something you have to create a sound ( Gasp with a sound to prepare it well ??? Yes it’s Molokhya ) One of the oldest And Famous Dish in Egypt. A funny Egyptian tradition is that when they cook molokhiya, they are asked to make a molokhiya certificate. Molokhiya Certificate means Ghasib Molokhiya when translated to English. This tradition requires them to suddenly inhale with their mouth open while placing the garlic in their bowl Before these cloves burn, they are dropped from the pan into the molokhiya bowl. Here, with the sizzle that comes with the contact of hot fat with green soup, the chef is supposed to gasp loudly. Then the mixture is stirred a few final times and the molokhiya is ready .
