My experience in Egypt with Mahmoud was 10/10. In three days in Cairo, we saw the tombs and pyramid at Saqqara, the Citadel of Saladin and Muhammad Ali Mosque, the ruins at Memphis, the great pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, multiple museums, Sultan Hassan Mosque, Khan El-Khalili Market, Al-Azhar mosque--you get the idea. Mahmoud is a true champion, I would recommend him to anyone looking for a guide and/or tour in Giza, Cairo or beyond. He is extremely knowledgeable, adaptable to your needs (i walk fast and don’t like to dawdle) and is just generally an awesome guy. He gave me an awesome tour of Giza, including genuine advice on what to do vs not do, and at each step he was spot on. My only regret, and this is 100% my fault, is that I booked through my hotel and didn’t book directly with Mahmoud.
