This tour turned the longest layover in my life to the best 1 day solo adventure ever! I researched over 50 tour companies and finally picked this one because as a single female traveler I wanted to make sure I chose a reliable option. They offered the most comprehensive and flexible trip possible in a day. The chat communication was prompt with response time of a few minutes. The price was very fair and the option to do my own ticketing gave me even more flexibility. My tour guide Esam was the most wonderful person. Firstly, the tour guide we had was great and the knowledge he/they have is 5 stars, BUT beware if you're not familiar with Egypt and specifically Cairo even your own private tour guide will scam you. Read about this so you know what to look out for. Secondly, nothing in the booking on Viator's website mentions that you will still have to pay more money on top of your booking. To be exact, I paid £65 initially and then another £210 on site for 3 adults. Was it worth it? YES! But was it a surprise? YES! It's an unnecessary surprise though - rather be up front with people about the costs instead
