Cairo: Khan el-Khalili Tour from Cairo Giza hotels with lunch

We were looking for a guided tour of Khan el-Khalili Market, as we didn't want to get lost or hassled by the vendors. Hesham was very responsive to whatapp communications after booking, and Marsil, our guide was super sweet accommodating all our needs. The driver was really excellent getting us out of the chaotic traffic outside the meaket and getting us back to the hotel safely. If you are looking for a guided tour of Khan el-Khalili, Hesham is the man to talk to. He can also arrange other tours in and around Cairo.

Very happy with our tour, guide kept in contact by WhatsApp and arranged pick up point. Very good information en route to the markets and we felt safe and looked after throughout. Cairo is a city where you really need local guide and pre arranged transport and we were glad we booked this tour.Would recommend

Be aware if booking this tour. It is NOT just the Khan el-Khalili market. You will be taken to all the factories they get kick backs from and if you’re lucky you’ll get an hour at the bazar.

The tour guide was very nice, he went way above & beyond, getting us koshary after we said something about wanting to try it, also he tried to step in & help us out with the person who answers the phone for this company as he had been extremely rude to me the day before. The village was more of a kids kinda event but they had some beautiful souvenirs in the shop area-The 5 starts is strictly for our guide (sorry forgot the name) & not for the company.

Turned out to be a full day tour. Was picked up from hotel on time. I wasn't informed that Village didn't open until 1100 until after pick up. Had it stated this in the information on website would have started tour later in day. Tour guide Emad offered to take me to papyrus shop before Village to fill in time. Emad was also very helpful when shopping in Khan market he bartered with the stall owners for me. Over all I had a really good day.

Un grand merci à Douaa notre guide et à son équipe qui a été très réactive en organisant à la dernière minute l'excursion et la tournée shopping (suite à l'annulation au dernier moment d'une autre entreprise). Elle a même organisé un transfert pour l'aéroport après l'excursion. Ses explications étaient passionnantes et éclairantes pour mieux comprendre Le Caire islamique. Elle nous a fait découvrir un réseau de magasins locaux où nous n'aurions pas pu aller par nous-mêmes. Le chauffeur Ahmad était exceptionnel et patient.
