Cairo Food Tour with Nile Felucca Ride

Beshoy was a great tour guide. We got to try many different types of Egyptian food. He took us off the beaten path to places we would never have seen. We did the felucca ride, too, and it was great at sunset. I would recommend this tour.

For the price, the food tour isn’t nearly worth it. One main dish (that the driver and guide ate out of with us), two deserts, juice and tea. We do food tours all of the time and this was the smallest sampling of food that we have ever experienced. I would have left 2 stars but the guide and driver were very nice and came through with a special request that we had which actually ended up up being the highlight of the tour.

Eslem took us by nice clean SUV to several places for authentic Egyptian food and drink that everyday people eat. It was all delicious. Mint tea and sugar cane juice, a rice dish, a meat dish, falafel, fava beans in various places. Not fancy but very authentic. No alcohol. Very memorable and Eslam was very friendly and professional- answered all our questions.

We combined many stops during the tour but we were not rushed. We also had an add on Sound and Light show!

Karam was so friendly , we had the best time ever!. He took us through the city and explained every plate of food we had. he took us through Egyptian diets and showed us different options- we were very full we even took takeaways. The highlight for us was the papyrus museum where we got paintings for our house to remind us of this moments. everyone was friendly and he was within reach so we felt super safe. The other highlight was catching the sunset over river Nile - he was flexible with our arrangements. we caught the most breathtaking winter sunset
