Cairo food tours should be avoided. They only provide a basic experience at one or two take away or fast food restaurants ordering the same four cheapest meals you can get on any street yourself: fava bean soup or dip, falafel, kofti, and shawarma followed by a cup of coffee or tea. If you travelled much you are giggling by now because those are the most common foods in Egypt. You can't avoid them. The most terrible guided tour I ever had. The guide, who drove the car, did not speak hardly any english at all. He did not know where to go and drove around downtown the same routs over and over again. To pay 50 dollar for this was a ripoff. I have not booked any guided tour before on Viator and I will certainly not do it again. First and last time.
